    Requirements to Letter:


    The criteria is based on a minimum of five conference meets plus the Cornhusker State Trap Shoot.

    1. 80% average for the season. Must participate in at least five conference meets and the Cornhusker Invitational State Trap Shoot. The average is calculated using the sum of the best five conference scores and the Cornhusker Invitational score.
    2. 85% average at the Cornhusker State Trap Shoot. Must also participate in at least five conference meets. The shooter must have an 85% average at the Cornhusker State Trap Shoot based on the total targets in the program.
    3. Any Senior who has never lettered but who has participated four years with the South Side Shooters Trap Club and participated in 5 of 6 conference meets and the Cornhusker Invitational State Trap Shoot all 4 years.

    Note: Junior High shooters are not eligible to letter.

    John Liescheski Memorial Scholarship

    (2) Scholarship's to Pius X provided to the High School Junior who has at least a 3.0 GPA, shot at least 5 Conference Meets and State, and is the best ranking with a combination of the shooter's GPA and the Trap Season average. (1 for Male and 1 for Female)

    Top Gun – Junior High Male and Junior High Female (grades 6 – 8)

    Highest average using their best five conference, plus the Cornhusker Invitational State Trap Shoot.

    Most Improved Shooter

    There is an award for both Senior High and Junior High. This award compares the average score for the first two conference meets the Shooter attended, compared to the average at the Cornhusker Invitational State Trap Shoot. Must have shot at least 5 Conference Meets. The club member with the greatest improvement will win the award. Ties determined by State score.
